- Game Description – The world is young, and the echoes of creation still reverberate. Your grandparents were among the first humans formed from the rock and mud, the fire and sea. The gods, powerful offspring of the void and lords of the elements themselves, still walk freely among humanity. Here heroes strive for glory, to shape the world to their will. Here the gods plot and scheme, dreaming their dreams of power and mercy. War and rule, fear and love, daily life. The world is young, and all is new. Tonight, all gather for a wedding—two epic heroes, their own exploits becoming legend, will be united in marriage. All are gathered, human and god. The world is still young. But danger is already old.

The Gods
- Dimiourgos* – God of Wisdom, and first among the Gods, Dimiourgos struck the death blow to the Great Eagle of the Void.
- Fotia Zoi* – God of Fire and Bringer of Life, Fotia Zoi imbued humanity with the spark of free will.
- Thalassa* – God of the Earth and Seas, in whose blessing all rest.
- Krymmenos* – The Messenger, God of Secrets and Truths. There is little that passes the notice of Krymmenos.
- Ygeia* – God of Nature, Lord of all Plants and Animals.
- Ouranos* – God of the Sky and Lightning. The ruler of the vault of the heavens is capricious and swift.
The Eklektoi
- Iroa* – The great hero of the Battle of Starvos, wielder of the shield pagoma. Iroa is to be married today.
- Pero – Iroa’s parent. Aging, taken to ruling rather than warfare, but Pero’s deeds of youth are legendary. The city-states of Peirama currently look to Pero for leadership.
- Melas – Iroa’s parent. Slightly older than Pero, their marriage has survived battles within and without. A razor-sharp mind.
- Priax – The archer. Sibling to Iroa, Priax lives in the elder child’s great shadow.
- Chrysaetis – Solitary queen of the small city-state of Charoan. She has the ear of both Pero and Melas, and has ruled her lands well since her husband and co-ruler’s passing.
- Calai – Child of Chrysaetis. A fiery youth, Calai is a sharpened sword waiting for a battle.
- Tolmi‡ – A sailor from the north, here with Aprothymos to bring tribute to the betrothed couple.
- Aprothymos‡ – Traveling with Tolmi.
The Echthros
- Syndeo* – The Hawk of the Heavens. Syndeo’s name has struck fear into Eklektoi children for years. A gaze as arresting as the tales say.
- Onkos – Parent of Syndeo. Known to be quite pious, at least in outward appearances.
- Machairia – Parent of Syndeo. There was a time when the mountains shook at Machairia’s name.
- Skiodis – Sibling of Syndeo. Whispers say that the shadows cling to this one more than to others.
- Ancaeus – Oath-sibling and companion to the lost Dokimi. The question is when Ancaeus will seek revenge, not if.
- Manti – The eldest child of the ruler of Psarochóri, a small city-state on the south shore of Echthros.
Commoners
- Matikos‡ – Seneschal to the Echthros ruling family. It shows great trust to give this position to a commoner.
- Iolaun‡ – A merchant of some note, Iolaun trades with both the Echthros and the Eklektoi, with no discernible bias.
- Nestori – A traveler and epic poet from the mountains of Peirama, Nestori works to glorify both Hero and God.
- Erytus – Merchant and owner of a fishing fleet. Like all who risk the seas, Erytus is interested in peace.
